Does any one where the oil drain plug is on a 2015 3.2?
Do I have to remove the whole plastic covering under the front?

The first time I did an oil change, I took off my front skid plate ... only to find out that the drain plug is right behind the back edge of the plate. You just have to get yourself under the car enough to see (or feel) it. Pretty easy once you know where it is.

Mine's up on the top of the engine. There's an access door in the decorative engine cover that twists off to gain access. I love it.

I did my oil change today and thanks for the help. There is an cover in the skid plate that hinges down to get to the drain plug and I removed the whole engine cover to get to the filter. I think it is less messy than spin on filters.

Glad I could help. Do you have a Trailhawk? I'm just curious, as you said you had a cover than hinges down, and when I took off my front skid plate (thinking I had to, to get to the drain plug), It was a solid piece of steel with no hinged compartment.

As for the top-loading oil filter, I love that idea. The first time I saw one, was on my ex's Saturn.

Now if they could just put a fixture on the top of the engine that would open up the drain plug on the bottom of the oil pan so a guy didn't have to crawl under the vehicle !
