Default U bolt question

Is there any difference in the grade of u bolt used for trailers verses that listed specifically for a Chrysler 8.25. Both u nolts are the same size, threads, etc. I need to replace my leafs and noticed that the the trailer u bolts are half the price. I would think that if the trailer u bolts are rated for use on a 7,000 axle, that they are at least grade 5, but the grade never seems to be stated.

Some u-bolts are Grade 5 while others are Grade 8, the thickness (diameter) may be different.

I've seen aftermarkets for the XJ listed as 1/2" Grade 8, which should be same as the OEM as their aftermarket OE replacements.

The u-bolts size for the XJ is listed as ½" Diameter x 3" Width x 6.5" Length, Round

Some 7,000 lb trailer axles use a 9/16" diameter, may or may not be Grade 8.

Here's a 9/16" diameter U-Bolt similar size to the XJ's that's Grade 5 instead of Grade 8.

5/8" Grade 8 U-bolts

Grade 8 - 5/8x3x7-5/8 Round U-Bolt http://www.autoandtrucksprings.com/p...NG-438-90.html

Last time I checked Rustys had the best price on them. Only difference in the 2 would be one not having any Tq on it and the other does.
