Make sure you clean the terminal of the brown wire and crimp it so it fits tight on the new switch or this will happen sooner than later all over again.

UPDATE
removed the switch and what do u know sure enuff it was burned out.. installed my 10$ autoparts store switch.. the plug was a little burned 2 but i made it fit just fine ( better than paying 23$ for a new plug ) and now everything works like it supposed 2

took about 1 hour to do everything i do have a few questions.. what is this cable for? looks like a throttle cable of some sort and a rod tru the column.. and it tracks tru the streering column...

switch
