Default how do i put a front coil in?

I took out my front coil out to do a lift but I'm having trouble getting it back in, I don't really wanna drop the axle cuz its practically rusted on, I used a compressor to get it out but I released it and now I can't get the compressor to hook back into it, any tricks to doing this without killing myself?

Everytime I try to tighten it they move or the spring bends to one side

You may want to take it to a mechanic that has a large hydraulic press and see if they will compress it for you. Just take your spring compressor with you and have them put it on so you can reinstall you spring.

Just put your compressor on the spring, on opposite sides. Then, tighten them down a little at a time on one side then switch to the other side. Go back and forth until they're compressed.

If you have a 5 or 10,000 pound rachet strap you can use that as a safety while getting it in and compressing it. Saved me some possible serious pain once when I had one side of my compressor let go.

Did you not disconnect the sway bar?

One thing I have noticed,if you install the spring from the side it is SO much easier.Install from left to right on drivers side & right to left on the passengers side.
