Can you be a bit more descriptive? Where exactly is the whistling sound? Does it change with speed or rpm?

I'd put money on a vacuum leak somewhere. Regardless, you should just turbo it anyway.

im not sure if you stand in front of the eingine bay there is no sound or whistle but on the side or inside the jeep you hear it it has a cherry bomb glass pack muffler but i put that on 6 months a go and the whistle didnt happen until i changed air filters and ive removed the air filter a few times try to find the noise and yes it dose go up in volume as i accelarate it honestly sounds like im running a turbo and people ask me if i do i tell them yes to see the look on there face a turbo cherooke how cool would that be

Not as uncommon as you'd think. Now, are you still running the stock air box or a cold air intake of sorts?
