hey all, how many different 5 spd. transmissions where available for a 93 cherokee (inline 6cyl sport if it matters), or is there only 1 5 spd for all cherokees?

Your model year and engine pairing only had one transmission, however there were 4 used in XJs:

4.0L 87-89: Peugot BA10/5
2.5L 87-01: Aisin Warner AX-5
2.8L 86: Aisin Warner AX-5
4.0L 90-99: Aisin Warner AX-15
4.0L 00-01: New Venture Gear NV-3550

 

2.6 litre? Canadian model?
