I wanna get a new trans mount because mine is probably shot and they are really cheap. Just need help getting the right one. i have a 2000 auto.
I was told its this one :
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ani-2625
But this one is also a choice for summit : http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ani-2570
Both are for the Jeep cherokee so i need to know which one is the correct one

When buying parts look at application tab and see if it matches your jeep.
Looks just like mine its a 95 but I don't think anything changed on that part of the Cherokees.

This is what keeps me going back to my local parts stores. But I always take the part that I am replacing so I don't have to make two trips if they give me the wrong one.

Agreed. I have yet to get a seal of any type the first trip. Lol. And always take old part if possible.

I take my old parts ANY TIME I go to the parts store for a couple of reasons. The first is I hate getting parts and taking them back to find the right thing. And second, I live out in the middle of no where and the closest parts store is over 45 mins away. Running back and for can take me more time then the actual repairs.

My 96 needed the rubber mount replace, and a jeep mechanic buddy I usually take it to when the problem is more than I can handle, said those mounts rarely go bad, but make sure you spray the bolts at least a week in advance, both inside the frame and outside. I sprayed them for a couple weeks with PB Blaster and still ended up breaking one of the bolts
. Took a while drilling the old bolt out and retapping the hole. The other bolt and 2 nuts came off with no problem. Always seems 1 bolt breaks no matter what you'r taking off.
