Might check the TPS for starters. Any other symptoms?

I wouldn't say your tranny is going out....is yours an auto? If so, the throttle sensor could be to blame. Autos have 2 connectors on the TPS, the square one is for the TCU, with is for the tranny.

Something else you could do, is clean all connections and grounds first before buying parts if needed.

+1

Also check your trans fluid. Is it clean and red? Burned & brown?

Your symptoms could be a lot of things. Got to start doing some basic tests to find out.

Okay so I just reset my pcm. By disconnecting my pos cable and touching it to my ac compresser for 30sec then reconnect and turn key on not start then turn headlights on then off snd turn ign off. Then I started it and drove it for a bit till it warmed up about 30min of driving. It seem to drive a lot better better shifting points. But just a little irratic idle. I wrote a thread about my jeep geting bad mpg. I changed my map sensor upstream oxy sensor but I never disconnected my battery when I did this could doing this cause my pcm to be thrown off thinkibg it still had the bad sensors on not the new resulting in bad mpgż
