Default Transfercase and driveshaft questions

Ok so after my 242 t-case blew up, I found another and now I'm in the middle of putting a newer 242 onto my automatic transmission.

I lost some linkages and gommets (I'm sure) when I blew it up. I need a website that has these linkages, I cant seem to find them anywhere. And Also the front driveshaft sheared from the chunk flange and the t-case flange, so I need one of those too. I do have a Pull-A-Part about 2 hours from me but I could also go up there and come back empty handed.

Anyone have a diagram of the shift linkages for the t-case and possibly have a spare front driveshaft?

Thanks!

No diagram but I can crawl under mine and take a few pictures for you if you think it will help you.

That would be great! Thank You!

I have a 1992 XJ, I'm assuming you have a 242 t-case?

If you want access to parts books look on the Morris 4x4 center web page in their knowledge base. You should be able to find the picture of the linkage and the part numbers for the items you are looking for.

Thanks for the link! That will definitely help! I found the main shifter linkage but I need the bushings and maybe some other small things from the trunion.

the bushings can be the hardest thing to find at a parts store but i found that if u just go to a jeep dealership they will have those bushings for the linkage, mine cost about 2 dollars and they had them on the shelf

Sahweet! Thanks man! Yeah when my t-case blew up the parts scattered. Took me about 30 minutes to clean/find all the parts.

And also, to do a homemade SYE, I need a front driveshaft and t-case side flange? I really need to get rid of the fixed rear driveshaft..
