I searched for part number 5600-2600 for both jeep and chrysler and found nothing. I'll have to deal with the lights after I deal with the TC. Thanks

 

I'm pretty sure the 231 switch in the picture is a vacuum switch if the donor had the axle disconnect. The 242 would be an electrical switch. The 231 with the disconnect has a switch on the passenger fender back by the firewall that is triggered by vacuum to drive the 4wd light on the dash when the disco is engaged. I lost track, you're swapping the 242 out for the 231? In my opinion, the 242 is more desirable, having the full-time 4wd option.

 

Yeah, but the 242 is DOA.

 

Either just leave the vac switch and not have a 4wd light or pickup the electrical switch from a later year 231.
