trans fluid change
Today I changed the ATF, and it looked red yet, but dark red, with no odd or burnt smell. So how may times should I change it to get most of the oil fluid out ?? Or is there a drain in the converter ?

no drain in converter. If you want to change out all ATF at once, do the forward flush using the trans pump. But if your fluid is red to dark red and doesnt smell burned, sounds good enough for now. That dark pink to red colour would usually be the point that you stop draining and refilling.

Yeah, ITA with Roler. If your old fluid wasn't cooked there's no need to replace it all at once. Do a drain and refill, drive for a while, do another...etc. You never get all the old fluid out that way, but after 3X you should have most of it.
You used Dex/Merc and not ATF+4, yes?

OK, thanks !! I'll stock up on more Dex/merc & change it again at the next engine oil change.
My oil filter adapter didn't leak in September when I bought the thing, but it's leaking now. I already bought the gasket/O-ring stuff to fix it. Looks like a PIA job though...

Yeah, it has the Torx head on that bolt. I bought a Torx bit, a T60 to fit it, with a 1/2 inch drive adapter. I pushed the bit out of the adapter, on the hyd press, to have room to use it. A 1/2 inch box-end fits the bit good. I blew all the dirt & oil off of that area with my engine cleaning gun, and after a few days it's still dry. I have to assume that the oil under it was from before I fixed the valve cover leak. (loose bolts )
I'll re-seal it when I get ambitious, before it decides to leak.
