Tightening the steering knuckle what ft lb
1999 jeep cherokee
no preload nut that I can see, when did they stop using them?
So I replaced the ball joints, u-joints, and hub assemblies on both sides. I am putting the steering knuckle back on and was wondering what ft lb to tighten the upper and lower nuts to? I heard somewhere 75 for upper and 80 for lower and to tighten the lower first. Is this correct?
Thanks,
qualm
