Default Tcase output shaft bearing

Was hoping to get a little guidance on how I go about swapping the output shaft bearing...90 xj np242 sye...do I need to remove the shaft to get at it?? Am hoping to tackle this weekend and want some good info before I start tearing into it. If your wondering the reason for replacing is I have a nasty squeaking sound in fourth gear when I accel. It goes away when I let the gas off. Driveshaft has maybe 100 miles on it. Just started doing it today

NM I got it..if anyone's wondering, the bearing is pressed into the small section of the tcase. There is a thick, 3/4 circle ring to slide out once you get the small section out. The bearing was really in there but a hammer and a big screwdriver persuaded it to come out. Press in the new bearing and reverse procedure and your good to go

good ole sweet spot lol..it's a rc double cardon shaft. I have been thinking about getting it shortened, sticking it up front and getting a new rear so maybe nows the time

Joints can be replaced on those if the swivels good. But new is always better.

So is this something I should stop driving until I get fixed or can I get by driving it sparingly till the weekend?? Basically am I going to cause further damage driving it another 100 miles??

Greased up the u joints and no more squeaky squeaks...at least for now. I had to try the quick easy fix and it worked for once.
