231 output shaft bearing
Does anyone have a link to a write up on changing the output bearing on my t-case? I tried searching, but it kept bringing up sye stuff. I just want to change my bearing. My haynes manual was no help. It just had instructions on a complete overhaul and it didn't recomend you try and do it yourself. I have some play in my shaft and I'm thinking replacing the bearing is the way to go. If I'm wrong please let me know. No point in tearing apart something I don't have to.
edit:OK I'm dumb. I wasn't seeing anything on the bearing because I should have been looking in the stock forum. Sorry I just don't go there much... Stock is boring. If one of the mods can move this over there (where it belongs), I'd appreciate it.

Remove the rear driveshaft.
Unplug the speed sensor.
Undo the 6 or so bolts that hold the back most cover, tailcone, onto the case.
Slide the tailcone off.
Set it up in your vice, and use a puller to get the bearing out. If you don't have a puller, find the right size socket to knock it out of there with.
Tap or press the new one in.
