When I raced, everyone talked how brakes were for wussie's, But it's the first thing you did was sand your pads to get rid of the glaze.

 

Some race bikes that I rode in the 70s had no brakes (Flat track Class C)

 

i always get up to speed and then stop hard to burn off any crap on the rotors after i do a brake change. i know my rotors are a little warped but i do alot of engine braking so its not a big deal for me. does your jeep wobble when youre stopping?

 

Nope. I can brake easy or I can jam it to the floor, no shimmies.

 

yeah then id just check to make sure the pads are in place nice and tight. happened on a friends jeep with squeaks, when we replaced them, made sure they fit in tight and no squeaks. the other pads werent that worn either so it wasnt metal on metal or nothin.

which pads did you get? ceramic?
