I agree with you Gazoo, but it takes an aftermarket part to do it. They also sell some kind of offset ball joints or something to make it adjustable.

I didn't know about the shim method.

Thing is, is that mine is not lifted and has no suspension mods. Could someone have hit a curb or something that could have knocked this outa whack? Ill do some reading and check it out today. Ill let you know what i find. Thanks for the info.

using the shims is the way any alignment shop does it for this type of vehicle. and if they don't know it dont go back. this is the only dealer approved way,and the proper way. The adjustable balljoints only came out for thease vehicles cause the "C" knuckles on the axles would bend up and or back causing the Camber to go out of wack.

hey nolan the XJ is fairly easy to an alignment on. the only time you run into major problems is when the camber goes out but normally it doesn't unless you did alot of 4 wheelin and bent the knuckles. but worn ball joints and worn wheel bearings will cause your camber to go out too. just remember when you do it SOAK ALL YOUR NUTS AND BOLTS with somthing like PB blaster or Liquid Wrench. the last thing you want to do is snap a bolt.

If the steering wheel is not returning I would think it is the steering box?
