I just douched my 2000 XJ and now have engine light and a little better throttle response

Did you "drive it like you stole it" after you did the procedure? Wondering if maybe the o2 sensor is reading funny now or something like that. Clear the system codes and re start see if the light goes off.

I know zinc does good for our engines. Calcium HAS to be good too. Strong rods!

yeah i ran it about 1/2 mile down the rd wided open anf back
.im going to clear the codes and see what happens.i dodnt see any steam or smoke when i did it

I think the whole Steam out the pipe depends on how much water you put in at a time. I used a 32 oz spray bottle set to stream. It was enough to notice a change in the idle when I did it but not enough at one time to get the big plume of steam out the pipe. I would say if you poured slowly rather than sprayed you'd get more steam out the pipe.

i took a 20oz water bottle and poke a 8penny nail hole and reved the engine up and squirted ( sprayed) it in

i reset it its off for now see tomorrow it it lights on the way to work.

does anybody know of anything to pour into my jeep to stop an exhaust leak? lol
