Hey all, I'm new to the site but have owned a couple XJ's. My current one is a '92 Sport. After it warms up a bit it tries/will stall when coming to a stop. The speed sensor is good as it opens and closes 8 times per revolution. The gears on the speed sensor and tail shaft are in good shape as well. The speedometer is not working. l. I know the speed sensor electronically drives the speedometer as well as has some control of idle speed. The wiring all looks good as far as I can tell. I'm curious to know: does the signal from the speed sensor go first to the computer and then out to the speedometer and idle control motor separately? Any help is appreciated.

sorry we didn't have an answer right away, have you checked the IAC? the TPS? vacuum leaks?
