So today when I pulled into the parking lot for work, turned left and the jeep stalled. slightly difficult to start back up but did and ran fine. Came out of work, went to turn left again around the corner and same thing, but I just put her in neutral and started while rolling. Started just fine. I was at about 1/8 tank of gas. The light haddnt come on yet. But I was headed to the gas station anyways so I filled up and it hasnt happened since.
Low fuel in the tank have anything to do with that? It was just weird

Always post year/engine. Significant differences along the way.
Obviously, you have no future in circle track racing with problems turning left.
But seriously, keep an eye on it. If it returns, it is something within the fuel pump assembly.

sorry bout that. 99 xj 4.0 auto all stock
It stalled so abrubtly, just as if I turned the key off. Didnt seem like a loss of fuel as from my experience it will spit and sputter before shutting off.

Keep a close eye on the stalling for clues. If it stalls and the rpms drop out abruptly, the problem might not be a problem with the fuel hardware, it might be the crankshaft position sensor failing. It is a very common fail on the Jeep 4.0 engine. When it fails to provide an input signal to your computer, you will have no spark and you will have no fuel going to the fuel injectors.
It may simply be coincidental that this happened when you were low on fuel.....

Is your steering wheel loose? Sometimes the tilt bolts come loose, and this allows movement of your ignition switch. Try searching for threads on tilt bolts. I've had friends have the exact same problem as you. 90% sure it's those tilt bolts. It's like a one hour job, done it myself.
