Default Spiffy new socket holder, Northern Tool

Been eyeballing this for a while, but seemed kinda pricey. At the moment this is the best socket holder solution I've found that fits in the drawers of my little Craftsman tool box. $17.99 at Northern Tool. Has a magnet long ways down that center part.

I use Craftsman socket racks. You can add or subtract places for sockets on them or you can screw them down for vertical storage

Looked at them at Lowes. Seemed even more pricey than these. And I need 3 of these just for the 1/4" sockets.

I have that "spiffy" socket holder and it is more trouble than it is worth. The magnet came off of one of them rendering that one useless. When you bump them and they fall to the floor the damn sockets go everywhere. I'll give you a set if you want them.

I have $.99 HF ones that are easily accessible on my pegboard lol

I don’t have as many sockets as I’d like though.

Those do look sweet. And I like how you can just grab the whole thing and walk it out to the Jeep.
Was considering them for a bit.
But the price and the fact that I can't fit every socket in one made me not buy them. I can't fit all my 1/2" drive 6 point sockets in one. Etc.
I just went with the $10 3 piece trays that Harbor Freight sells.
Most times I can eyeball close enough. I grab 3 metric and 3 standard sockets when I eyeball it, walk out to the Jeep, and hope I got it right. LOL.
But even those trays cost me $40. Needed two sets of each.
Picked up that 300 piece every socket Craftsman sells awhile back for $215 out the door.
So not US made and the easy read markings could be better but......
But I needed one for the 12 point and one for the 6 point sets. In both standard and metric.
Funny thing is sometimes I wonder why I have 12 point sockets. I don't like to use them and rarely have too.
Same with my wrenches. I try to stick with the 6 point closed end wrenches whenever possible.

Haven't even started to organize the loose wrenches. When I buy new ones I get them in an organizer.
