Default Favorite tool you own

Fav tool you own, or favorite one you've modified or "invented"?

I don't have a lot of tools but my Craftsman socket set is the one I use the most.

I sewed knee pads from motocross pants into my Walls coveralls for crawling around on the ground, kind of a modification I guess.

A cheap [$20] office chair with the back rest removed and a shallow baking pan attached to the legs is my shop chair, [NOT the one pictured], no use in paying $80 for a "real" one.

It doesn't have that cool Matco tools logo though

I would have to say my favorite tool is my tool box. I did have it painted army green, but now it is sprayed with black under coating...

I normally keep some sockets, wratchets, wrenches, PB Blaster, flat and phillips screw drives, wire cutters and plyers in it.

Its always ready to go to the junk yards...

Cool

This is a hard one, but I would have to say the best tool I own besides the miller 251, the 24V dewalt drill, is my deep cut portaban. I use it so much, I don't know what I would do without it. I picked it up from a pawn shop, damn near stole it!

THose are great pliers I have used them before didn't know that is what they were called though.

My favorite tool is my Leatherman. I use it more than any other tool in my bag or box.

They are called water pump pliers because plumbers use them instead of carrying several other tools/wrenches and stuff. They adjust to many many different sizes and shapes for differerent fittings.

I personally like my vise-grips. You can clamp/bend/break/crimp/fix/and use them as a handle for just about anything.
