Default Speedo and transfer case prob.

So. The guy that I bought my 91 Cherokee from put a transfer case out of a 2003 in it. The speedo plug doesn't fit in the 03 transfer case. I guess they changed it. Any ideas how to fix it.

He put a t-case from a 2003 what?? Seeing as the XJ line was discontinued in 2001, I am curious as to what model he got it out of??

Get a GPS. Doesn't matter what you do to your XJ with tires and gears, the GPS is always right.

Those are cool but its kind of over kill for a 91 cherokee. I just want the stupid speedo and odometer to work.

Ok So the jeep is a 91 cherokee. The transfer case is a 242J out of a grand cheorkee i suppose. The speedometer sensor is broke and i am having a hell of a time finding a replacement.

The nut broke on the speedo sensor.

it looks just like that from the top but the bottom has an output shaft. Is that one taken apart. Also what year and model is it from.
