95 XJ, 4.0, automatic wouldn't start today. Unfortunately, it decided to play this 'no start' game after I'd loaded it up with way more soda than I can just walk home [like, sixteen cases].

After a lot of pointless panic, I remembered that there was a common no-start situation where you could start if it was in neutral.

And it started in neutral.

So I'm reading up on this right now, but I have some concerns.

I've seen a few things about it needing to be adjusted or aligned, and one place mentioned something that needed to be done with a multimeter.

If someone can walk me through the more technical details that I'm apparently missing for putting the thing back on once it's been cleaned.

I am still searching this forum specifically for anything that might help, since there's nothing else I can do until I manage to figure out exactly what I need, and then figure out exactly how to get what I need.

I just wish it would've waited until after the big game sales.

Actually, waiting until after emissions testing would've been nicer.
