Smoking from oil dipstick
Anybody got oil burning out the dipstick? I know the oil pressure gauge's are wacky on these Jeeps but maybe the oil pressure really is high? blow-by? Haven't had a chance to check out the pcv valve yet.

That's where you're going to want to start. With the engine idling pull the PCV valve out and put your thumb over the end; you should feel a nice strong vacuum.
No Vacuum?
Replace it, of course.
Still no vacuum?
Chances are the hose leading to the intake manifold (or throttle plate) has gotten gummed up. Pull the hose and blow through it - that'll tell you.
STILL no vacuum??!!
The port at the throttle plate has gotten gummed up. Take a drill bit (about 1/4 inch, but whatever fits) in your fingers, insert it into the port and turn it gently. It'll auger out all the crud. I do this regularly with my GMC 'cause it's pretty bad about clogging up.
Also don't forget to check that air is getting INTO the engine through the top of the valve cover where there is a hose going to your air cleaner assembly. There is a filter of sorts in the air cleaner and a hose leading into the valve cover, but no valves. Just clean it all out.
