So, I searched the forums and didnt find anything specifically for power locks... I just got a 91 power locked XJ, and the owner informed me one of the doors doesn't auto-unlock. the LR door. So you have to manually flip it before you can open it from the outside. But I noticed that the button felt like a sticky resistance just behind the lock inside the door where I assume the motor sits.

I think I can remove that module and get to the spring/motor or whtatever I will find back there, and my question is this.

Is there a general degreaser and lubricant you'd use on a power lock?

I would use wd-40 or motor oil if wd-40 is too thin

I use brake cleaner for cleaning, and white lithium grease for lubrication.
