this has been going on for some time now and it's getting a bit old. i push the lock button on the remote, the horn beeps but the doors don't lock. try it through the button inside and nothing. it will unlock though. the actuators don't even make a noise. has it happened to anybody?

so the power locks dont work whether you use the remote or the window switch?
check and see if there is power going into the lock actuator when the switches are being pressed. also, check all fuses.

if it had no power, it wouldn't unlock though. this is just the lock part. i keep thinking that maybe something is obstructing the lock button on the door, so it shorts out every time i press it. but that would have blown the fuse by now.

I would take the door panel off and look at all the rods and just clean everything out and re grease everthing. I know the little rod clips always break and are a pain in the rear but new ones are just a couple bucks. Give that a try. I had everything out of my door and now everything works great.

yeah, i had to do that once before because the driver door speaker quit working. the junction for tweeter and speaker was corroded.
while at it, what would cause the driver door to not lock or unlock by power. i can hear the actuator, but nothing happens. it has been doing it since i got it and now rear passenger side door started doing the same. this is before the lock button started crapping out.

Ya just clean it all out and look at the wires and rods. Does the door lock from the inside when you do it by hand? I would just check it all out and clean and re grease. Its free. lol Let us know what happens

Ya tear it apart and just clean it and make sure nothing is blocking it or anything. It shouldnt take to long. I did both my front doors in an afternoon. Keep us posted on what you find.
