My left rear power door lock is malfunctioning. sometimes it receives power and locks/unlocks but other times the motor/solenoid just makes a grinding sound and nothing happens. Is there a way to fix this? Or would it be more prudent to just replace the part? If the latter, does anyone know the best/cheapest place to find such a part? Thanks.

 

im having the same promblem with my right rear, when i push the lock button it just makes a noise for about 3 secs and nothign happens, anyone know what causes this and how to fix it i would appreciate it thxx
