Should I get a new engine or Move on to another jeep?
Once agian im asking for your guys advice since so far ive never been let down by it. Thanks to the help of a few people in the fourms here ive confirmed my jeep has a spun bearing. It still has life left in it but the knocking has gotton slightly more noticiable and its becoming more concerning, so im wondering if saving up and buying a nice Titan 4.7 stroker for it would be worth it or should i just sell it and move on to another jeep? My jeep is the only one ive found so in this area that has every option you can get from the factory except for the up-country or offroad pakage so it is kind of rare and i know i can get $6,000 for it at a dealer because i almost got another cherokee a while back (i only paid $3500 ) anyway i just wanted to know if i should keep it and save up for a stroker or move onto another cherokee? Im more crossed on this then someone who can sit on the porch and watch there kids in the back yard and id really apperciate the help guys, thanks agian

You could just get a crate motor. They are only like 1200-1500 after the core charge and most of them ship free. Thats just another option. I want to stroke mine and if your jeep is so rare why would you want to get rid of it?

He'll have more money in the stroker than he paid for the car. For a first XJ...just get a replacement motor that is in decent shape and learn how to swap them in/out. There are good motors out there for $400 or so that'll last for years and let the guy get back to driving his Jeep.
