That would probably ruin your transmission.

That's exactly why you should not fool around with other types of transmission fluid.

Do you get a kick out of spreading false information or something? Everybody knows it should be put in your AC ducts to keep the rats out.

How does one drain the trans without dropping the pan? My ‘95 has no drain plug. Suction pump down through the dip stick tube?

The only way to get the fluid out is by dropping the pan, or somehow get it out through the transmission tube.

Well..... Why don't you.....DO the forward flush !?

Especially in those cases where you have no transmission drain plug!! . It's simple, safe and very effective in changing as much fluid as you can, all in the one go. Just do it. Happy to talk you through it.

Now, there's a novel idea!! Where did you find that? You win a jar of vegemite!

FWIW, I've never seen an AW4 without a drain plug.

Brilliant idea.

Thought to bring the thread back to square one..
In case someone missed the first 5 times that the flush might be a good idea.

My ‘95 AW4 has no drain plug. I bought a1992 AW4 transmission & 231J transfer case for just the transfer case, because the seller wouldn’t split them up. That ‘92 AW4 has no drain plug.
