Seatbelt beeper on constantly

Seatbelt beeper on constantly
Even though I have all of my seatbelts buckled, the buzzer stays on constantly - a loud high-pitched noise that will not go away. My mechanic says that he cannot figure out how to turn it off.
I drive a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.
Any suggestions to make it go away?
