For those of you that have installed an XJ radiator/ fan clutch yourself, how difficult was it on a scale of 1-10?

radiator: 2
fan clutch/viscous drive: 2

a note on the viscous drive assembly. It CANNOT be stored in the flat/horizontal position, as the silicon fluid will leak into the bearing assembly and contaminate the lubricant. If the auto parts store stored it this way - WALK AWAY.

Agreed above... the radiator is a 2, fan clutch is easy as 4 bolts. Just have a few hours and maybe a friend to help tackle the job. I think your '95 still has the *cough* false *cough* quick-disconnects for the auto trans cooling lines unless you have a manual in which case dont worry about it. If you need help, just ask and we will be happy to help.
