So i am undergoing the peugeot to AX-15 swap. I got a ax-15 and the boot on the top of the shift tower has a hole in it... how important is it? Do i have to replace it, or is it really not important?

I'm pretty sure the boot is there to stop things from falling down, and interfering with the shifter. As long as you don't drop anything down there, i don't think it's a big deal at all.
