Question Sagging Rear end

I have a 01 Cherokee that has had a slight sag in the rear end since i bought it last year. I have a general idea of what might be happening, but i want some more insight because its starting to bother me and my Jeep just looks a little weird with a front end sitting higher that the rear end. Please help, any information would be great information, or suggestions for that much.

Well, would it be better for me to go ahead and replace the old leaf springs with new ones or do an add a leaf? I want to eventually take it up on a good long arm lift kit but it could be a handful of years before that happens. Should i convert to a coil spring system? I can see buying new springs but ive heard they are a PAIN to uninstall and to reinstall.

For right now, i think i want to do a whole new pack of leaf springs for the rear, the Spring package would be Amazing....But its not in the budget just yet. Is it pretty moderately priced? I want to do both at the same time and take a weekend out and replace them myself too. Just curious what does the whole spring package run?

Not to hijack the thread, but here is my question.....if i go back with stock leaf springs, and then go with an AAL, will that be the same as ordering a new leaf pack with a lift kit? Just wondering cuz I can get a new set of stock springs locally.....i dont know if the full leaf pack on a lift kit is arched differently!

If and when i am going to replace the springs on my 01 Cherokee, would i look into original stock springs or upgraded stock springs? Mind you a lift will be in the future for my Jeep as well. I initially want to to look like the proper ride height in the rear to match the front end.

If at all possible you I would say to hold off until you can lift it. It would be a wast of money to put new leafs on then take them off in a year to lift it. A full pack is always the best way to go. Then you would want to match the rear with the correct corresponding springs upfront. Don't forget to add shocks. Just my .02

Don't do an AAL. The packs will start sagging again. Decide what you want for a lift, save for it and go all out. If the sag is bothering you that much, you can buy some longer shackles to lift you back to normal. Keep in mind you will still be saggy, but on a budget, it works.
