I wonder how 101 MB (Pdf) could be sent.
Of course somebody would have all those ball joints done on the Ford before the coffee water boils, BUT!.....hows that air cleaner? ....And got that 5v to the passenger side terminal on the MAP?
And..(pete and co). Map has it's own ecu ground? (D-3), Wonder why that.

Also.. I put the wires back on the metal to try to re create the issue and it didn't happen so, it MAY be related to the C101 connector if it doesn't do it again.. fingers crossed!

C101 connector has to be pristine. I didn't clean it well enough the first time. I may even do it again. I'm going to take it on a good run and see what's up.

First off, that company must be female or you wouldn't have ditched us so fast....
MAP does NOT have it's own ground at D-3. That's the same circuit that has the CTS, TPS, and IAT ground combined. You know, the one with the bad splices? They all share it.

Ick! glad I don't have one! Like I mentioned through email, guys have eliminated it and soldered all the wires. A trick there is to slide the shrink tube aside to solder the wires, then move the tubing over the joint and apply heat to shrink it. Then you will have no C-101 problem!
I know it seems like allot of work, but I CAN say this. When you make a good solder joint, and apply one or two layers of shrink tube, (you can also put a larger diameter on there to fit over the first), once you have that , it just plain feels good. You know you not only gotr' done, you know you done good!
Or...if it works maybe it doesn't need to be fixed.
(yea, that MAP line is routed goofy. At least run it straight back and up) I'm not seeing a "time lag" problem with the air volume expanding on that myself.

Gotcha' and thanks again. So it shows that as the MAP ground without mentioning that "ground be ground"
I'm gonna look again for that reference to 12 teeth for the CPS...curious about the low voltage reports. Maybe chasing my tail! (again)

Here's where I'm curious. Could this 88, be different than an 89? if so, could the AC voltage from the transducer be different? Most likely I'm just off on some stupid tangent, just, I sort of need to rule things out sometimes.
(looking at the 89-90 now)
