When the Blue Jay sits and squawks and defecates on my patio, I take away the cat food dish, then it goes away.

Yea..actually I forget the original story. Something around wrestling a pig in the mud...the pig likes it.

Anyway..the wires all have color codes. "brown with white stripe" for instance. (you know that!). When you get into that to repair it, I was suggesting you note the color codes (something I didn't do), so we might all learn from what is (or isn't), going on there. Anyway, that sounds REALLY GOOD! (Btw, I'd prefer your original coil over that beer you mentioned!)

OK..maybe i got a little over exuberant. "bare" would be metal/copper in my vernacular.....I sure hope so! (I mean that there is metal on metal). Or maybe you just meant the insulated wires. Vibration and wear can make the tiniest breach of the insulation...not good of course. I need REALLY good light and the right glasses to see that stuff. I keep a mirror or two near my parking area in case I can use a sun beam.

"""""Well, in my opinion, when you test something it either passes the test or it doesn't, that takes the guesswork out of it. """""""""

DUH - IT DID NOT PASS THE ONLY TEST YOU DID!
A WHITE spark is FAILED!

You did not even try to find out WHY it's white!

My offer still stands - til SAT.

BTW - if an injector wire is grounded, the injector does not get the signal to open - it stays closed - closed is LEAN - not rich. Why didn't your "guide" tell you this?

I know at this stage even if you do find it - even after you take it to a professional and they tell you what it is, you'll never admit what was really wrong.

The teeth on the flywheel that the CPS uses. I thought I saw references to bot 12, and 20...I can find/check it myself in the FSM's, just thought you might know right off. Gotta run....

Renix had a certain number of notches and HO another number. I've got a Renix flexplate up above the garage if you want me to go look.

No Pete.. I need to do my own homework..have company now. I thought I saw a reference to both 12 and 20 tooth ...in Renix stuff...waz wounering it that could be true, and maybe account for a different voltage from the transducer...I DID seea refreence to 12 there in a sea of PDF/Fsm.....may well have been for something else.

Bummer Rob..I had hoped a "bare" wire was touching something. Anyway, that "gang" giong down there to the knock, Cts, and 02 sensors has been a problem for me and others.
