Maybe it would be easier to use the search function because this argument will never end, or maybe everyone that is going to wheel there jeep should buy top dollar kits, because you get what you pay for. But for some reason people like lifting there jeep for looks so looks or function = low dollar or high dollar.
And yes i have used rough country products before. There bushings are crap and there lifts ride rough, hence the name. If you have the money to spend on re or clayton then do it because it will totally be worth it, but if you dont then you dont.

LOL!!! mine definately isn't for looks. Said it before and I'll say it again, I beat the hell out of my rough country lift, it goes over through or around everything I've thrown at it, and has done every thing I have asked it to do, and has given me 0 problems. You guys tossing out the torque wrench before your installs or what?
On a side note, if you're planning on putting on a long arm upgrade like iron rock's long arm upgrade later (like I'm planning). What difference would RC control arm bushings make anyway? Though like I said, have had not a single problem with them.

why do I gotta keep repeating myself man? My leafs and coils perform and flex GREAT. Yes they're stiff, as they SHOULD be... this isn't a caddy, it's a JEEP. Do the shocks suck? sure they do... does rubicon express's lifts even come with shocks? nope! I'll stick with these good springs, throw some bilsteins on it along with those long arms and CONTINUE to enjoy the way this thing performs offroad, and sharing pics of the experiences with the fine people of this forum.

I have the 4.5" with adjustable uppers and track bar on mine....its had the hell beat out of it and yes I have had to replace all the lower controll arm bushings. However, I believe if I went with the adjustable lowers that would probly fix that problem since there are rebuildable flex joints in them. If any of us are worried about a rough ride ain't we doin the wrong hobby??? Mine flexes great too. Yes, their shocks that come with the kit could be improved, but for the money no other kit is remotely close to theirs. Has anyone tried their 2.2 shocks??? They are really good kits....especially for the price. Bottom line is its a economical kit that isn't said to be the "best". You must pay for the "best" if you want it. It performs as well as our jeeps are capable of ........my 2 cents worth.

the rear leaf springs ride better than my stock ones did! i just got my lift on yesterday and i love it! the quality of the parts are just fine! and my 3" series 2 kit rides just as well on the road too...the only time i notice it is when i hit a speed bump going fat...and it may end up riding even better as i break in my shocks a bit!! i woul dbuy this kit again in a heart beat!! i WANT a little stiffer ride when i LIFT a vehicle...the center of gravity just raised and i would like less body roll in case of a fast manuver! i like driving fast around turns! and my rough country kit will make it much safer to do that!
