my 4.5" RC was my second lift and netted me at 6" at first and settled at about 4.5. i did full packs too. the main leaf on both sides snapped..one the first winter and then the other side the next. so i switched over to BDS springs and a custom 1" shackle. then swapped out the coils so there isnt much left of it but i rode it for about 2 years. stayed around 4.5" the whole time.

mine measured about 6 inches a couple months after I installed it. I haven't measured it since then, but it doesn't look to have moved any.

My 4.5" la RC lift sagged to 3.5" and both leaf spring bushings [were junk. the leaf eyes bend open allowing them to slide around. it happens on all their new packs, look it up on naxja.org
My rc lift has fallen apart. Bushings suck, leafs suck, even the bolts they included suck!! Ubolts snapped! I told RC that the lift was junk, and they agreed with me. He psaid yes it is, im sorry. if you want anything better, look in to rubicon express.

I had a bunch of rough country stuff, but less and less by the day.

All 4 of the Bushings on their LCA's were bad less than a month after installing them, tossed them and replaced them with Rusty's, then about 4 days after installing them one of the bushings on those goes bad, basically dont expect quality hardware from these budget companies.

Leaves sagged down from about 3.5 inches of lift down to about 1.5, tossed them and had custom leaves made.

Their shocks suck. All of them. Period. End of story

Their coils are ok, I have no complaint about them.

this is true, like i said, i switched to BD leafs in the rear which are theoretically similar to rough country but they have yet to give me any problems. my drivers rear shock also blew out on my 2nd wheeling trip.. ive since upgraded to doetsch techs and theyre alot better..all ive got left to do is the front coils.

I have been looking at the 4.5" and I am very confused. I see post going both ways and I am wondering if its the amount of wheeling or maybe the overall weight of the vehicles(added equip.).

Bump for more info/Comments.

how about you do some research? search here for the bushing, leaf sagging, bent control arm issues. also search NAXJA for bad bushings, leafs sagging, and bent control arms issues

I work at a shop and Rough Country is how we stay in business right now. lol they are the #1 suspension issue we work on.......................
