So after more than a week of frustrating misfire I did more than the wiggle test. I wasn't able to track down the problem but i had some time yesterday so I disconnected every connector I could find and plug wires and everything I could find and then reconnected them and checked for anything messed up. Everything looked good but magically the misfire is now gone.

Now, however, I have a higher idle and the iac is jumping around instead of moving smoothly. It is newer from rock auto so I don't know why it stopped working smoothly because I didn't take it out this time. Anyone have problems with rock auto products? At least I know it was something electrical easy to get to I just don't exactly what because I didn't test the problem in between checking connections.

Thanks cruiser and everyone else that helps.

Connector refreshing is not to be taken lightly......glad to hear it.

Perhaps you need to reset your TPS now?
