Well...It I were to guess I say the new cap off the line was just a little sticky or something. Maybe the inlet check valve...who knows. It just made a scene that one time on the first day, then has been fine. It's hard to buy I didn't have it on tight enough....not imposable though.
So she's good to go. I'm doing a trip...I'll have Hwy, mileage #'s for the 746's and be finding out thet that cap is OK, soon enough.

I'm usually pretty careful handling small plastic things, sometimes I need help. The stuff just cracks and crumbles and brakes to pieces. It's hard for me to know how much force to apply! Anyway all is well at the moment.....

There's the explanation. You were hesitant to tighten it as tight as it needed to be...until it leaked, of course.
I have a CSF 3 core waiting to go in, so I'm not needing any more closed loop parts. We could work out a deal whenever I find it tho.

Cool Gee oh Dee. Maybe we can talk next month.
There you go Robin! Cool. Boy...you might want some Kevlar for when that puppy goes!
Anyway I just went 300 miles in hot weather with a heavy Jeep up hills, and didn't even think to look at the coolant. My sender has been out this century...the light never came on, so I guess all is well.
Idk Pete.. I had really cranked it on tight. I'm still suspicious there was some little burr or booger that let it puke once. The only explanation for the torque I gave it not having it seat would be a difference in the threads. That's my sticky, and I'm storrying to it! I don't cross thread things anymore....since that tragic day with my training wheels.......(I tipped over!)

Probably was a booger or burr left by WunHungLo's cap that was on there previously. I was just yanking your chain anyway!!!

Turns out I just needed to hold the cap good and solid, and turn the whole Jeep a bit.
