Default rediclous axle fustration!!!!

i have a 96 XJ sport with an 8.25 27 spline. the axle HAS ABS.. and it is an 8.25.. i was reading everywhere and it says that no 8.25 has ABS. but apparently mine flook does. im swapping out an 8.25 with NO ABS. its a 29 spline. apparently the 29 spline axle tubeing is bigger? but online it says 3" for both. the 27 spline is about 3/8 of an inch smaller in diameter.
can anyone please shed some light on this.. im rediclously fustraighted and my DD is down for the count untill i can fix this.

any pics of this ABS 8.25? the only way you have ABS with an 8.25 is if the axle came out of a liberty. and even then im almost certain it wouldnt work with the XJ ABS module. you competely sure its not a Dana35?

what exactly is the problem you're having though?

if your ubolts arent the right size, then go get some ubolts. otherwise the 29spline should be a direct bolt in

really hard to tell from your build thread pics, but from the angles i saw, you have a dana 35 (which would explain the smaller axle tube and the ABS)
