Recommended Brake Kit for '91 Cherokee
Hello!! Newbie here, so I apologize in advance if I place a new thread in the incorrect category!!
I just picked up a project Jeep and I was hoping for some recommendations on brake kits.
This Jeep has been sitting for about 5 years, but it starts right up, runs, drives, and everything. I'm not looking to get crazy, I just love the Cherokee's and I would like to restore it, but with a few upgrades.
I don't need some super power braking system, I just want something a little better performing and stronger than stock.
Thanks for the help!!

Rear disc brake conversion is a good upgrade. I haven't done it myself but its pretty popular. Google "xj rear disc conversion" and you'll find some good reads.
Rear discs give you more braking power amd efficiency over the drums. Definitly go and read as much as you can find. Best way to learn.

The last brake job I did was on my 96. I found some vented slotted front rotors on sale at summit. Got some wear ever golds all the way around and new cylinders and shocks on the rear. Took her for a spin and face planted the steering wheel at the first stop sign.

This might help if you upgrade the booster. Sounds like this should be my next task...
