recommend me some speakers

looking to put new speakers in my doors and speaker bar thing in the back... ive seen on here someone putting 6.5 infintiy somethings. What do you have in your XJ?

All dependes on price. If you want cheap speakers that will sound good then get some Pioneer's. Thats what ive got in my 99 but if you want high end speakers id reccomend some Alpine's/Rockford Fosgate or Infinities. Theres alot of options out there and it all dependes on what your willing to spend/what you want out of your system.

Alpines work great handle 240 max and great sound quality but unless you have or plan on having a big amp I wouldn't recommend. expensive and won't work at full potential if under powered.

i just want to swap out the stock ones not looking to put in a amp or subs..i want Clarity, i dont want them too distorted at high levels, im willing to spend 100 a pair and i want to put in a good head unit to help achive this

Then go for what I recomended for speakers and for a good head unit Id definetly go Alpine.
