I am wanting to remove old tint from back window but I have the defrost wires on it and was told it would pull those off. How do I remove the tint without pulling the hearing wires to replace tint?

Anything is possible! Read that a clothes steamer worked for one guy. Start at the edge and work cautiously.. Others used hot water and towels to start lifting it off..
EDIT: Heres a vid from the MCM guys. Great how to. Rear window part starts at 7:20
