Car wash tore mine off...how do they re attach?? My jeep leaks like crazy now

The Chrome? They just clip on.

They should either slide on or clip on, just gota make sure u ain't got no bends in it or it wont fit right, happened to my last jeep lol

You angle em up and set em on the lip then kinda pull down hard and start angling slowly sometimes you have to give it a whack with your palm where.the clips are. I just put mine back on a month or two ago. I can relate to the leaking. It's hard to explain though. Just feel it out.

It's a jeep! The doors will fall off, the headliner will come down, the Windows and locks will stop working, the radio will short out, water will come in to places you didn't even know were there...... but it will keep running. If they built the trim and accessories like they built the engine and trans we would be paying 4x as much for em used haha. So be it

No way in hell that the drip rail being missing will be the cause of leaks. It's an aesthetic piece, not a functional piece. You're got more issues than the drip rail

Then how come as soon as the piece was torn off it started leaking...and now that it's back on it doesn't leak ?

Idk mine stopped leaking. Ya.the doors a little maligned causing the seal problem, but with the Chrome the water doesn't drip down the side of the vehicle.
