You might want to check the connection for the antenna to see if it came disconnected. Yu will still get am with out it but not fm.

Don't listen to the radio. It's all bull**** anyway. Enjoy the peace and quiet of your own thoughts.

Well what cruiser really means is enjoy the random noises our Cherokees make and have them drive you nuts until you figure out what is wrong. My radio stopped workin months ago and every so often it'll go on while I'm on a long trip. Such electrical ghosts

Check someplace like Amazon (I found a Sony) $75 will get you one with a USB port you can listen to what you want. Also get the premade wire harness for like $10, then it's 0 headaches, plug & play.

I have the same problem with my radio. Just as long as the cassette deck holds out I'll be fine.
I mostly listen to my XJ anyways.....
