Anyone have any suggestions for a new radiator mine has a small leak in it and i figured it was time to get a new one. Ive got the straight six and the auto tranny in a 2000 sport. Aftermarket or OEM radiator suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

After researching on the sight here I replaced mine over the summer with one from DPG Off Road. It works great and would recommend it. I had cooling issues with an aging radiator. Since replacing it my temps have been very low even in the heat of the summer.

yeah that was another question i had ive heard that the engine bay is so tight in the xj that it has cooling issues and tends to run hot so that was another reason i wanted something aftermarket. Btw when i said diff part numbers (im guessing) it was set up like the cheaper ones had certain numbers and as the prices went up the part numbers changed.

Lots of radiators available for your XJ! They vary in prices but works almost the same...

Radiator Barn has been a pretty good source through the years.

Want to upgrade, go with a CSF 3 row.

+1, I went with the all metal 2-row CSF and it worked excellent. Stick with the factory recommended t-stat as you don't want your truck running too cool as that will adversly effect gas mileage. As long as you don't have a hugh winch blocking your grill and your cluth fan works properly there's no reason to spend the extra money on a 3-row, IMO.
