just wondering if theres any kind of sway bar holding straps, or something I can use to keep the sway bar from doing whatever it pleases while I've got it disconnected?

 

Yes there are some bungee cords which are easy to use and stay under your fenders out of the way until you disco your discos. They use an eye bolt and snap hooks. I have a set but have never bothered to put them on. Been using a short piece of wire coathanger and that works too.

 

Where can i find those straps at?

Theres always zip ties, that is what I currently use.
