I took my cover off the rear diff to check the oil and refill it (doubt it has been done in a long time by the look of it).
It has D300 stamped on the housing (where the seal goes) – what does that mean?
Also, it says D35C to the right of the housing, and I'm wondering if I have LSD or not? What are the ways to check for it?

I did dump some LSD-oil in there just in case it is a LSD, I do have a metal plate on the cover (read somewhere that it has a metal plate if LSD(?)) but I coudlnt read what it said and I forgot to check the glovebox for any stickers.

After looking at this site (http://www.jedi.com/obiwan/jeep/traclok.html) and also this (https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/lub...172/#post53310) I think I do have a Trac Lok Diff.
also, I found this in the glove box:

I'm just not sure where to look, where are these clutch packs located?
As for not being the only owner, nope, proud no.7 according to the books.
good efforts, but do u kno what urs looks like exactly... sounds like, per ur other posts, that it's all back together... did u take more pictures?
u see where the spider gears mesh together, sides to the top & bottom? the clutch packs would be outside of the side gears... towards the outsides of the diff, but obviously in the carrier... its explained in that jedi.com link

I think I'm starting to understand what you mean by where the clutch packs would be, found this pic (a dodge diff):
Am I correct in assuming the clutch pack is seen to the left thru a tiny "hole" right near the spider gear?

cant see anything much on the right, but that piece of metal on the left of the left spider gear is part of the clutch pack... on the right, to the right of the right spider gear, u can see rigged metal following the contour of the spider gear
easy, jack up ur rear end... rotate one wheel, if the opposite wheel rotates in the same direction, u have LSD... if it spins opposite direction, its open
