noticed you said by the book... are you trying to use a pin in the alignment holes on that distributor while dropping it? because I have never been able to get that method to work right on these.

Jeep back on the road. Problem was the dist. I didn't index right. I was not advancing it forward to where it needed to be. Sitting at about the 530. It trans code now. No rev lights. Think I need to clean the nss.
