Default Pulley behind the fan on 01 XJ?

On my 01 XJ my belt keeps slipping off. After checking it out I found that the pully behind the fan (not connected to the fan) Is a little crooked and the belt is not lying where it should. Ive been to several parts stores and no one can come up with a part number in a computer and I dont know what its is called. After further research it seems that its not the pully thats bad, its the bearings that are behind it. They are part of a large assembly that bolts to the block and mounts the AC compressor. Anybody had any experience with this or know what the part is called or what I should do. Cant have this belt randomely coming off. Thanks

I am pretty sure its the A/C Compressor Bracket. It has the pulley and bearing already pressed onto it. I had the same thing replaced on my 88 this past summer. I's all one piece and expensive to have replaced.. god bless Mopar for this smart design, insted of making the pully separate.

Yeah, im gonna do the labor myself, but where did you find the part at. Did you have to go to a dealer, cause the parts stores have no clue what im talking about apperently. But what you are describing sounds like what im needing. thanks

Yes it was about 500 from the dealer if i remember correctly. I wish i would have known before i had the guy fix it because i would have just went to the bone yard and gotten one myself , or for 600 i could have gotten a whole parts jeep for that much.
My problem was that the bearing went bad and was squealing , and i thought about pressing pressing out the old pulley and pressing in new bearing , however they did not sell a bearing that i could find.

How about a picture, not one pully under the hood is anywhere near $500. Not even the entire AC compressor.

its not just the pulley though its an entire bracket.. A/c mounting bracket. I agree that it shouldn't cost five hundred though.. JY

If its only the pulley thats off cilt, then auto parts should have.. If you have a bent shaft, then one would need the whole bracket.
